HD Digital Radiography (X-Rays) For Dogs And Cats
HD Digital radiography — what most pet owners know as X-rays — is faster and safer than traditional film X-rays. Digital images use less radiation, produce crisper and more detailed pictures, and are available immediately for our veterinarians to review and share with other facilities if needed. (Bonus: there’s no film to chemically process, which also makes digital X-rays the more environmentally friendly choice.)
X-rays can be instrumental in detecting fractures, foreign bodies, tumors, and changes in the heart and lung fields. They can also be used in the later stages of pregnancy to monitor litter size and positioning.
